Pastor Oz Ramkissoon
Life Port Church is honored to have our Lead Pastor, Bishop Osborn Ramkissoon, fondly known as Pastor Oz. He was born in Trinidad and is the eldest child of nine children. He and his family migrated to United States in 1968. His parents are the inspiration in Pastor Oz’s life who taught him about the love of God despite his dad’s family past Hindu background. He has a daughter who is the head of Praise & Worship at Elevation Church in North Carolina and a son who is a multi-talented musician currently serving as a missionary.
Pastor Oz graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biblical Studies. Then, he became a youth ministry for six years, and has over twenty years of experience as a Senior Pastor. He was the Lead Pastor at West Kendall Church of God in Miami, and Harvest Ministry Church of God in Lehigh Acres before coming to Life Port five years ago. Pastor Oz has a heart for everyone and strongly believes and implements our mission of loving God, loving people, and loving God’s word!

Worship Leader
My name is Kate Douglas, and I have the privilege to be your Worship Leader here at Life Port Church. I grew up here in Port Charlotte, Florida and am 24 years old. I grew up in church and was so curious about this God who loved me from a very early age. Although my life took some twists and turns, my God always brought me back to perfect peace and His sufficient grace.
I am so blessed to have the opportunity to lead a congregation in worship weekly, and my passion for ministry grows daily. I have wanted to see my community on fire for Jesus since I was a young girl, and I am honored to be apart of a movement in this area.

I believe the youth are the frontline for God and want to equip everyone I can with God's word so they can go out and spread a fire! I want to see this area North Port/ Port Charlotte explode with a revival for God.
I have been a youth minister for 2 years but I am new to the Life Port Church family and I am so excited to be here! Something big is coming so don't miss out!
